  2. Here's a good list, with brief reviews, of time travel movies streaming on Amazon Prime video, as of Spring 2020 http://timetravelnexus.com/streaming-time-travel-spring-2020-part-ii-amazon/
  3. French series, highly recommended https://paullevinson.blogspot.com/2020/05/twice-upon-time-after-sunset.html
  4. Movie Actor. But also a Christian who understood the mystery of just Mel. If Mel Gibson understood Melchizedek at the Vatican then he understands his path from day 1.
  5. 1977-8ish. A guy shows a machine to a research office. The first machine is a test with no pilot. I don't remember where he sent it. But soon they were able to make a life size machine with a pilot. I guess they found the test machine and analyzed the data from it. I don't remember title but i think the main man and woman went to a prehistoric era. (Maybe trying to be an Adam and Eve type couple?)

Can anybody recommend any other good time-travel movies?

    Time Lapse (Movie)

This was a great "stuck at home, sick" movie. I enjoyed it. I liked the twist in the end.

    Time Lapse (Movie)

I'm sick, today, so I'm going to cuddle up and watch this. It's on Netflix! I'll let you know what I think.

    Time Lapse (Movie)

Watched it a few months back. I didn't expect much but I was really surprised. It had a great story!

    Time Lapse (Movie)

Yes, you're right. It was a great movie; much better than flight 1942, lol. That was a terrible time-travel movie.

    Time Lapse (Movie)

This was a great movie - Watched it a while back an really enjoyed it. I'd like to do a proper review of it soon, once I get around to the ten billion other things that should be accomplished here ;)

    Time Lapse (Movie)

I'm going to rewatch it again soon. Now I know the full story I'm going to look out for any plot holes.

    Time Lapse (Movie)

I've watched it twice. I liked it's approach, the story line was very good, and I wanted to be sure I didn't miss something. I hadn't. Third times a charm...
  17. Yesterday, I watched a time-travel themed movie called Time Lapse. I must say that I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish, and kinda like how it ended. Here is a link to the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LQtQgFt1_4

    Predestination

He did not lose any memories it is e just did not recognize his future selves for what they where. He just listens to the story in the bar for old times sake.
  19. Kafke

    Predestination

Heinlein stories are always the best. Predestination was an excellent adaptation. One of the better time travel movies to come out IMO.
  20. sunflogun

    Predestination

This movie was totally disconcerting, I mean, it was a little hard to follow and the fact that he didn't had memory of his past selfs is a little strange too. A good movie though.

    The Butterfly Effect

I've seen that movie a couple of times and I loved it. It really makes me think about the way events can or not change our life. I tried to post a thread on a somewhat similar movie I love too called "The Adjustment Bureau", but for some reason the create thread button doesn't appear. Either cases here's the link to the movie and I really recommend it to everyone that didn't see it. The Adjustment Bureau

    Predestination

Oh man, that sucks! It's sad that you weren't able to enjoy the movie to it's fullest! What were your thoughts about it though?
  23. Arvis

    The Butterfly Effect

I've only seen this movie once. While I don't believe in existence of the butterfly effect, it's a really good film to watch! I guess it's time to take a look at the second movie, hope it's at least as good as the first one.

    The Butterfly Effect

Oh lol. It may be clearly an old thread, but I still benefited because I never knew about tow or part three as mentioned in the above posts. Now, in regards to other movies and the consequences, I kind of learn towards consequences highlighted. Maybe you could give an example in which the consequences were marginalized? Then again, I do not necessarily watch movies for the factual information, unless it is a documentary. Of course, it bothers the heck out of me, when a movie is to far fetched or poorly made. This causes me to lose interest.
  25. JoanMcWench

    The Butterfly Effect

Clearly this is an epic old thread because I'm pretty sure there was a part two to this one. I liked the original a lot. Second one? Not so much. It really gave you an idea of time travel consequence that is sometimes ignored or minimized in other movies.
  26. salandme

    The Butterfly Effect

Okay. I will look forward to more of your thoughts on balance and duality. Speaking of cause and effect, I suppose it would be a gamble to accomplish a wanted outcome. Got to tell you, never thought about the possibility of doing anything morally questionable. I am a big believer in karma. Hmm, now this brings me to the whole question of how karma would play out in the event of time travel?
